Message from Chris Appleton....

Hi guys, I thought I'd best give you an update on what's happening as it's been a very busy week or so at the Absolva base. Everything is going great, Dan has left the band totally amicably, of course you all know my brother Luke Appleton is going to step in for the 2 Scottish Dates and the entire European Tour. We'd like to thank 'Jon Schaffer' of Iced Earth for letting us borrow him. We have decided to put some old 'Fury UK' songs in the setlist, aswell as songs from Absolva albums 'Flames of Justice' & 'Anthems to the Dead'. This tour will be Absolva's most extensive headline tour to date. As for new bass player, I've had many applicants come in and there a few which I think will be front runners in the audition process which I will be holding in the next 2 weeks before the tour. Just want to thank every single one of you guys, our fans for the love & support you give us throughout everything. It's business as usual for Absolva, we 'Never Back Down'. See you on the road.

Looking forward to hooking up with Luke Appleton of Iced Earth

Looking forward to hooking up with our metal brother Luke Appleton of Iced Earth, who plays bass for us in Scotland this month & then on tour across Europe in September-October.

It's gonna be fun choosing the setlist with the Fury UK line-up re-united for this tour.

ABSOLVA - SHORT RE-CAP ON TONIGHTS' NEWS

So, the past hour has been a roller-coaster! Just a quick re-cap on our news....

Dan Bate has left Absolva, amicably.
Luke Appleton comes in on bass with Absolva just for one tour, so we have the old Fury UK line-up playing together again.... Chris, Martin & Luke.
Luke continues in Iced Earth. Our thanks to Jon Schaffer for his kind permission for Luke to help us out. 
Absolva carries on now & in the future, & we'll soon be auditioning for a new permanent bassist.
Also, we should mention regarding the Blaze Bayley touring band - Dan will play one last show this weekend in Crete, after which Luke will also be playing in this band for a short term.
